Title: Le Stanze . Medium: Ink on Paper Dimensions: cm25 x cm35 Description: Le Stanze (Italian for “rooms”) is a series of silk screen prints that have emerged from photos I took of my laser planes inside a white room at Jack Straw Production in Seattle (2004). Originally three-dimensional and green, the room in the prints becomes a flat, polychromatic space. Hidden beneath lines, planes and colors, the two-dimensional prints conceal the room’s depth, and between illusion and memory, they allude to the people who had previously moved through the planes.
