The Master Course in Printmaing

The Scuola Internazionale di Grafica offers the opportunity to obtain a non-university certificate in Printmaking. This  year-long course will provide students with the tools to master the Printmaking methods, while also exploring the Artist’s Book. Students will be guided throughout the academic year in the design and realization of personal works, based on the skills developed through the classes and the expressive needs of each participant.
The course ranges from the most traditional Printmaking techniques to the most innovative methods, with particular attention to the sustainability of contemporary methods. The contribution to the lessons of internationally renowned artists and guest artists from all the world is an additional value that allows students to get to know professional realities – not only Italian – and to deal with cutting-edge techniques.
The collection of artist’s books and the Scuola’s collection of prints are important examples for the lessons, while the textbooks in the library, which can always be consulted, allow students to deepen their knowledge of numerous technical and theoretical aspects relating to Italian and international Printmaking.
The Master Course in Printmaking opens to the professional world while encouraging participation in exhibitions, contests, and creating new links with artists from around the world.
