Who Studies at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica

Art Universities and Academies
  • Intensive Courses for groups up to 12 students. Programs are in Printmaking, the Artists’ Book and Calligraphy. The students may be accompanied by a teaching professor or instructed by the Scuola’s faculty.
  • Studio Residencies for small groups of advanced or graduate students (up to 6) accompanied by a professor or assisted by our staff.
Middle and High Schools

Schools visiting Venice may attend an Introduction to Printmaking  three-hour class.

Independent Students

International university students who wish to study abroad independently may attend a Semester or Year Long Program in Printmaking, Book-Arts and Calligraphy. Students receive a transcript from the Scuola in order to receive credits from their home institutions.

The Scuola and ERASMUS

The Scuola Internazionale di Grafica hosts art and design students and professors on Internships and Courses through the ERASMUS Project.

Students and professors from European countries such as Spain, United Kingdom, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, have studied and worked at the Scuola.


If you are an art or design student or professor, you can contact us with a request for studies or internship at the Scuola through ERASMUS. This project is financed by the European Union (EU).
